The Workplace Relations Commission directed Leeson Catering Limited to pay Santiago Grenon €1,848.00 for unpaid wages, €1,330.00 for annual leave and €500.00 in compensation for employment-rights infringements, in a decision dated 27 August 2025. It upheld the wage and leave complaints but rejected a duplicate wage complaint. Grenon, a chef, said he was not paid or was underpaid for work from 24 June to 28 July 2024 and was owed 95 hours of annual leave. The company did not attend either hearing. The adjudication officer accepted Grenon’s wage evidence and found the company had not supplied records to establish his leave entitlement.
