Kamal said he received a redundancy termination letter after annual leave without consultation or an offer of alternative work, and that the promised redundancy payment had not been paid. The WRC found no consultation or engagement over the redundancy and took account of a later advertisement for his former role. The respondent did not appear at the hearing.
