The Workplace Relations Commission directed The Accommodation Kingdom Limited The Accommodation King to pay Haroldo Ribeiro Larrubia €3,300 compensation over unpaid annual leave. Adjudication officer David James Murphy dated the decision 13 June 2025. Three other complaints, over employment terms, minimum notice and alleged wage deductions, were not well founded. Larrubia managed Airbnb rentals and said the work arrangement prevented him from taking paid annual leave. The company disputed the scope of his claim, cited occasions when it provided cover and did not dispute that it had failed to ensure he took annual leave. The officer found it had not established that it paid his outstanding entitlement.
