The Workplace Relations Commission found two complaints by Thanushan Rajah against Cregg Recruitment not well founded. The decision, dated 31 October 2024, concerned separate claims under the Equal Status Act 2000 and the Employment Permits Act 2006. Rajah raised concerns about a workplace investigation, his return to work and his dismissal. The adjudicator found those issues differed from the complaints originally referred. She said she lacked jurisdiction over the later unfair-termination allegation because of statutory timeframes, and noted Rajah did not pursue the referred race-discrimination complaint and had not undertaken a protected act relevant to the penalisation complaint.
