The Workplace Relations Commission ordered Inspirus Global Education to pay Shane Ormsby €16,590.15 after finding the company owed wages, accrued holiday pay and six weeks' notice pay. The decision by adjudication officer Brian Dolan is dated 5 August 2025.
Ormsby alleged the company failed to pay €18,303.32, including salary, expenses, holiday pay and notice pay. The company disputed that he was an employee, denied wages were owed and argued the claim was late. The officer found Ormsby was an employee until his dismissal; expenses were excluded from the wage calculation, while unpaid salary, holiday pay and notice pay were found payable.
