WRC rejects Vasile Stancu’s complaint against Baku Gls Ltd

The Workplace Relations Commission found Vasile Stancu’s complaint against Baku Gls Ltd not well founded in a decision dated 6 August 2025. He said the company proposed reducing his working pattern and should have notified him in writing of a change to his employment terms. Baku Gls Ltd said the change was discussed because of reduced work volume and would be made only by agreement. The adjudication officer accepted managers’ evidence that no agreement was reached with Stancu and his hours and contract terms did not change. The company therefore had no written-notification duty, and no award was made.
