The Workplace Relations Commission upheld three employment complaints by Haroldo Ribeiro Larrubia against The Accomodation Kingdom Limited, trading as The Accomodation King. The decision was dated 13 June 2025. The WRC awarded €1,520 over Sunday premium, €760 over compensatory rest for New Year's Day and €3,040 over inadequate written employment terms. It found that Larrubia had resigned, so his unfair dismissal and minimum notice complaints were not well founded. The company said Sunday premium was included in his salary and that he had flexible time off in lieu, but the WRC found there were no records to support this.
