The Workplace Relations Commission found that Maria Claudia Rocha’s public-holiday pay complaint against Bny Mellon was not well founded. Adjudication officer Gaye Cunningham issued the decision, dated 25 October 2024. Rocha said she had not been paid for the October 2023 public holiday. Bny Mellon told the WRC that payments for the October 2023 and February 2024 holidays had been included in her April and May 2024 salaries. Payslips showed both payments had been made, although late.
