The Workplace Relations Commission found that Icts ( Ireland ) Ltd. failed to provide Gian Tabassi with most of the written employment particulars required by law and ordered it to pay him €566, equivalent to one week’s salary. The decision was dated 28 August 2024. Tabassi worked as a security officer for the company from 1 September to 3 November 2023, earning €13.48 an hour for a 42-hour week. He said his job offer set out his pay, hours and work location but omitted other required terms. The company accepted it had not provided the full terms, saying he left before it could give him a completed statement. The adjudicator found that the missing information deprived Tabassi of clarity about his employment. The complaint was upheld under the Terms of Employment (Information) Act 1994.
