The Workplace Relations Commission (WRC) rejected Lauryn Brennan’s complaints that she had not received all wages due and had been unfairly dismissed. Adjudication Officer Elizabeth Spelman dated the decision 4 June 2025. The adjudicator said Brennan did not attend the final hearing or present evidence supporting either complaint, despite receiving hearing details and follow-up contact from the WRC. Metron Stores Limited t/a Iceland (in liquidation) also did not attend; its accountants said the liquidator was unfamiliar with the underlying matters and could not assist.
