The Workplace Relations Commission found that Crewit Resourcing Ltd had not contravened the Minimum Notice and Terms of Employment Act in a complaint by Calota Stefan. The decision was dated 1 August 2023. Mr Stefan did not attend the hearing, although two Crewit witnesses attended and the WRC arranged an interpreter. The adjudication officer said Mr Stefan had received a hearing notice and remote hearing invitation, and had offered no explanation for his absence. With no evidence presented in support of the complaint, the WRC found no contravention; the merits were not decided.
