The Workplace Relations Commission awarded Sarah Bartley €672 for unpaid holiday pay and €35 for 2.5 hours of work in a decision dated 28 August 2025. Bartley, a dog handler employed by William Hayes trading as International Asset Protection, had said she was owed wages and holiday pay and had faced penalisation after raising concerns. The WRC found the two payment complaints well founded. It rejected her other penalisation and unfair dismissal complaints, found she was not entitled to wages for time she did not work, and found one terms complaint outside its jurisdiction because it was referred more than 12 months after the alleged issue. Two other terms complaints were withdrawn.
