WRC says Ionela - Adina Iacobuta’s three complaints were out of time

The Workplace Relations Commission found that Ionela - Adina Iacobuta’s three complaints against Framewell Limited were outside the time limit and failed. In a decision dated 31 May 2023, it said it had no jurisdiction to hear them; the merits were not decided. Iacobuta’s complaints concerned a reduction in her working hours without written notice and emails she considered patronising or condescending because of her language difficulties. She said hospital treatment and depression contributed to her delay in filing. The WRC found the complaints were still out of time even if an extension were granted.
