A Workplace Relations Commission adjudicator declared Jason Tucker’s family-status discrimination complaint against Supermacs & Papa Johns Mallow Supermacs Mallow not well-founded after Tucker missed a rehearing on 16 May 2024. The decision was dated 29 August 2024. The merits were not decided. The respondent had missed the original hearing, and the case was ordered to be reheard before a different adjudicator. Tucker later said he had forgotten the rehearing amid difficult family circumstances and apologised. The adjudicator declined to reschedule, noting the hearing notice and the absence of an earlier request to postpone.
