Malahide Play Centre complaints ruled outside time limits

The Workplace Relations Commission found Adam O'Neill's unfair dismissal and redundancy complaints against Malahide Play Centre were brought outside the statutory time limits. The WRC said it had no jurisdiction to hear them, so the merits were not decided. O'Neill worked as a supervisor at a childcare facility from 29 April 2015 until 31 March 2020. His complaints were received by the WRC on 12 April 2022, more than two years after his employment ended. The commission's decision was dated 30 November 2022.
