The Workplace Relations Commission awarded Oghogho Omoregie €1,017.86 after finding that One Complete Solutions Limited had not given him an amended written statement with the correct rate of pay. The decision was dated 3 October 2022. Omoregie began working for the company in July 2020 and resigned in December that year. He said he had not been notified in writing of a change to his employment terms. The company accepted that his contract contained an error but said it was clerical. The WRC found the complaint about the missing corrected terms well founded and awarded compensation equal to two weeks’ pay. It did not find that the incorrect terms were deliberately misleading: Omoregie had provided no evidence of deliberate conduct, and the officer accepted that the error was clerical. That complaint was not well founded. Two other complaints were also not well founded. Omoregie accepted that he received a Sunday premium, and the officer found he had been paid the amount properly due to him. The officer found €3.44 per hour was properly payable for the premium.
