The Workplace Relations Commission found Eamonn Moules’s constructive unfair-dismissal complaint against Securitas Security Services Ireland Ltd was not well founded. Its decision was dated 8 July 2022. Moules said demotion and a transfer to another site left him no alternative but to resign. The company said it investigated bullying complaints, upheld them and issued a written warning and site transfer. The officer found Moules resigned before using the grievance procedure and did not appeal the disciplinary outcome. The officer concluded the company had not breached his contract in a way that made resignation reasonable. The respondent did not present witnesses, but the complaint was decided on its merits.
