The Workplace Relations Commission found that Permanent Tsb did not unlawfully withhold a performance-related pay increase from former employee Susan Jordan. The adjudication officer’s decision was dated 13 May 2022. Jordan argued she qualified for a 1.7% increase worth €606 for January to July 2021. Permanent Tsb said the increase was governed by a collective agreement requiring employees to remain employed and be on the payroll on 31 July. Jordan had resigned and left the bank on 30 July. The officer found the increase was not properly payable to Jordan under the Payment of Wages Act 1991. The complaint was not well founded.
