The Workplace Relations Commission awarded transport worker Tymoteusz Ogrocki €14,300 after finding his employer failed to provide requested records of his working hours. The decision, dated 28 November 2022, also awarded him €1,650 for a separate failure to provide written employment terms.
Ogrocki said he was not given a copy of his hours records. Wentworth Transport Ltd Clf International Freight said it retained the records and later supplied them to the WRC. The adjudication officer found they had not been provided in response to Ogrocki’s request. The employer accepted it had not provided written terms of employment.
