WRC dismisses Blazej Sarnecki’s unpaid-hours complaint after he misses hearing

The Workplace Relations Commission found Blazej Sarnecki’s complaint against Bidvest Noonan not well founded and dismissed it after he did not attend the hearing; the merits were not decided. The decision was dated 30 September 2022. Sarnecki had claimed €1,170.09 for hours he said he had not been paid for. He later emailed the WRC saying he had withdrawn the complaint after receiving part of the money, but did not answer the WRC’s request to confirm the withdrawal. Bidvest Noonan attended the hearing and said all outstanding money had been paid.
