Ramona Daraban entitled to statutory redundancy after Glamford Ltd closed

Ramona Daraban is entitled to a statutory redundancy payment after Glamford Ltd ceased trading and her pharmacist role ended. The Workplace Relations Commission decision is dated 15 July 2022. The adjudication officer found Daraban had been dismissed by reason of redundancy. Her entitlement is based on employment beginning 1 July 2018, termination with two weeks’ notice on 13 February 2021, and gross weekly pay of €1,153.84, subject to the scheme’s €600 weekly wage ceiling. Glamford did not attend the hearing, though the decision says it had been notified.
