The Workplace Relations Commission ordered Cidos Trading Ltd Banba Toymaster to pay Stefan Jennings €2,508 after finding it had failed to provide written employment terms. The decision was dated 29 July 2022. Jennings worked in the respondent’s toy store from October to December 2020 and said he received no written statement of his terms. The WRC also found that his separate complaint under road transport working-time regulations was not well founded because he was not involved in road transport. The compensation was payable within 42 days of the decision.
