The WRC found that a sales assistant was not discriminated against on the grounds of disability. The decision was dated 18 July 2022. The worker alleged harassment by a colleague, failure to provide reasonable accommodation and a reduction in his hours. The respondent said it offered support, addressed the complaint and arranged occupational health advice. The adjudicator found no evidence that the colleague knew of the claimed disability or that the reduction in hours was related to it. The worker had told the respondent he had post-traumatic stress disorder; the adjudicator also found that no medical certification had been presented to the respondent to show a disability or need for accommodation.
