The Workplace Relations Commission found that Dainis Kriscuns was not penalised by Lidl Ireland Gmbh Lidl Head Office after he raised a grievance about changes to sick pay and other employment terms. Kriscuns said disciplinary proceedings followed his grievance. Lidl said they concerned his performance and conduct. The WRC found performance concerns were the primary motivation for the disciplinary procedures and found the complaint was not well founded. The decision was dated 11 October 2022.
