The Workplace Relations Commission dismissed eight complaints by Grzegorz Walasek against Radisson Blu Hotel, Dublin Airport, finding that the same issues had already been decided in earlier proceedings. The decision was dated 5 October 2022. The claims concerned terms of employment, industrial relations, employment equality, wages and working time. The hotel argued that the issues had already been heard by the WRC and appealed to the Labour Court. Walasek said he had wanted to raise all the issues in the earlier hearing but had not ticked the correct boxes, and wanted the matter reconsidered. The WRC found the claims were identical to those previously heard and decided between the same parties. It said the earlier matter had been heard in full, a reasoned decision had issued and the decision had been upheld on appeal. The WRC concluded it could not adjudicate on the same complaints again.
