The WRC found Ana Tudor’s three complaints against LIDL Ireland GmBH not well founded after she did not attend the hearing. The merits were not decided. In a decision dated 30 June 2021, adjudication officer Aideen Collard said Tudor had been notified of the remote hearing and knew she needed to attend to request an adjournment. She had asked for more time to review the respondent’s submission, which she received on the day of the hearing. The complaints concerned terms of employment information and two payment of wages claims. LIDL Ireland GmBH attended with a solicitor and five witnesses, ready to contest the complaints.
