The Workplace Relations Commission found that Kamil Janowicz was not discriminated against on disability grounds after a dispute at Regan's Supervalu Firhouse. The complaint was not well founded. The decision was dated 3 June 2022. Janowicz said he had a medical condition that made it difficult to wear his mask over his nose and mouth, and that a manager asked him to leave. The store said he was refused entry because of aggressive and verbally abusive conduct when asked to adjust his mask. The adjudicator found a connection between the complaint and a medical condition, but was not satisfied that the evidence established a disability under the Equal Status Acts. The WRC therefore found the complaint not well founded.
