Beaumont Hospital defeats employee’s claims over revised terms and back wages

The Workplace Relations Commission found Stephen Quinn’s complaints against Beaumont Hospital not well founded, rejecting his claims over written terms for a new role and back wages. The decision was dated 7 July 2022. The officer accepted that the hospital issued Quinn’s revised contract on 17 November 2020. The officer also found the position he sought was not vacant until 20 October 2020 and the promotion process began immediately afterwards.
