The WRC awarded chef Sujith Arachchige €2,460 after finding that FMMP Ltd had not provided his written employment terms on time. The decision was dated 27 August 2021. The adjudication officer preferred Arachchige’s evidence that he received the statement more than two months after starting work. The award was four weeks’ remuneration. The WRC also awarded him €250 for unpaid Sunday premiums and €120 for an unpaid August public holiday. Arachchige withdrew his annual leave complaint after saying that entitlement had since been paid in full.
