The Workplace Relations Commission found João Mendes’s complaint against Hayes Higgins Partnership not well founded in a decision dated 28 April 2022. Mendes said he had not received a full written employment contract within the statutory timeframe. The company’s financial controller said he gave Mendes the contract at a meeting on 28 February 2020. The adjudication officer accepted that evidence and found the company had complied with the Terms of Employment (Information) Act, 1994.
