The WRC awarded Megan Palmer €1,423.07 in notice pay and €1,621.90 for unpaid annual leave and public holidays owed by Irish Whiskey Museum Ltd. The decision was dated 7 September 2021. Palmer said she was not paid after the business closed during the Covid-19 pandemic and received no notice pay when her employment ended on 20 July 2020. The company acknowledged that annual leave and three public holidays were owed. The adjudication officer found she was entitled to one week’s notice pay and payment for five days of annual leave and three public holidays. Both complaints were well founded.
