The Workplace Relations Commission awarded Alexandra De Valera €700 after finding that Thru The Green Coffee Company Limited had not shown her pay included an additional premium for Sunday work. The decision was dated 10 January 2022. The WRC found the Sunday-work complaint well founded after accepting that De Valera had worked some Sundays. Her complaint about initial written terms was out of time; the complaint about amended terms and her other decided claims were not well founded. The company’s offer of an alternative role meant the WRC did not find that she had been unfairly dismissed. One wages complaint, one working-time complaint and the equality complaint were withdrawn.
