The Workplace Relations Commission ordered M + G International Haulage Limited to pay truck driver Petras Norkus compensation for breaches involving his employment terms and working time. The decision was dated 21 September 2021. Awards included €2,400 for a breach of road transport working-time rules and €2,400 for a weekly rest breach. The decision also awarded €800 for missing written terms, €210 for Sunday premiums, €800 for inadequate notice of working hours, €160 for two unpaid public holidays and €800 for annual leave. Three further complaints received no separate awards because they duplicated other claims. The sums were to be paid within 42 days.
