The Workplace Relations Commission awarded plumber and pipefitter Dominic Coll €2,439.22 in unpaid wages after finding his Payment of Wages Act complaint well founded. It also awarded him €500 for unpaid holiday pay. The decision was dated 21 September 2021. Coll said he worked for R G Mechanical Ryan Gallagher between 31 August and 16 September 2020. He said he was owed wages for 98 basic-rate hours and 15.5 hours at time and a half, along with eight hours of holiday pay. The respondent did not attend the hearing, which proceeded on Coll’s written and oral evidence.
