WRC says Anar Javadov’s dismissal and holiday claims were out of time

The WRC found it had no jurisdiction to hear Anar Javadov’s unfair dismissal and unpaid holiday pay complaints against Sroosht Limited t/a Hannah’s BBQ because they were brought outside the time limit; the merits were not decided. The decision was dated 13 October 2021. Javadov said he was unaware of his rights and had to wait for an appointment with Citizens Rights. The adjudication officer found his reasons for delay unconvincing and not reasonable cause for an extension.
