The Workplace Relations Commission found Karolina Warszewska’s complaint against Luxury Reservations Ltd T/A Marriott International was not well founded. The decision was dated 12 January 2022. Warszewska said a 2020 business transfer adversely affected her sick-pay terms and her option to take extra annual leave for working a public holiday. The adjudication officer found the disputed sick-pay clause was already in place before the transfer. Warszewska retained the extra-leave option, subject to restrictions, and the transfer did not breach the regulations.
