WRC rejects daycare worker’s complaints against Four Districts Daycare Center

The Workplace Relations Commission found two complaints by Ciara O’ Connor against Four Districts Daycare Center not well founded in a decision dated 4 November 2022. O’ Connor said she was penalised after raising a concern about personal protective equipment. The adjudication officer found no evidence that she had been penalised or otherwise mistreated under the Employment Permits Acts. She also said she had not received a contract or the required details of her employment. The respondent produced a signed, dated contract but could not confirm that she had received a copy. The officer was not satisfied that it had not been provided when she signed it and found this complaint not well founded.
