The Workplace Relations Commission found Victorine Neuray’s disability discrimination complaint against LlRG5 Ltd was not well founded. The decision was dated 2 March 2022.
Neuray said the company’s move from Castlebar to Knock and its proposed working arrangements failed to accommodate her disability and caring responsibilities for her husband. The company said the relocation had business reasons and that it had tried to accommodate her request for part-time work.
The adjudication officer found the law did not provide accommodation rights based on her husband’s disability, and that Neuray had not clearly requested accommodation based on her own disability.
