The Workplace Relations Commission (WRC) found Michael Beirne’s complaint against Sraheen Group Water Scheme Co-operative Society Ltd not well founded under the Equal Status Act. The decision was dated 1 June 2022.
Beirne said the scheme discriminated against him when it disconnected his water supply and refused his request to restore it. The adjudication officer found he had not shown that his disability was a factor in the charging or disconnection decisions.
