The Workplace Relations Commission found that Mark J. Savage was not discriminated against in two complaints against Musgrave Operating Partners Ireland Limited Supervalu. The decision was dated 27 July 2021. Savage alleged discrimination, harassment and victimisation on religious grounds after a store removed his notice from a community board and reported the matter to Gardaí.

The adjudicator described the notice as containing a homophobic slur and an unsupported allegation of serious criminal wrongdoing against a public figure. He found it was not protected expression of religious belief and that removing it was justified. The second complaint was not upheld; the officer found no basis for a complaint about referring the matter to Gardaí.
