The Workplace Relations Commission directed CPL Solutions Ltd to pay Tania Begley €542.05 after finding it failed to give notice when ending her employment. The decision, by Adjudication Officer Maria Kelly, was dated 7 April 2022. The WRC also directed payment of €211.40 gross for unpaid overtime and an hours discrepancy. Begley, a temporary agency surveillance assistant, brought 11 complaints against CPL Solutions Ltd. Eight complaints were not well founded. The WRC found Begley had received more annual leave than the statutory minimum, was paid for the Christmas and New Year period, and was not penalised for making a pay complaint; her contract ended amid pandemic-related employment conditions. It also found CPL was not responsible for informing agency workers of vacancies at the hirer.
