The Workplace Relations Commission awarded Martin Kinsella €2,400 net, four weeks’ pay, after finding that DMG Transport had not given him written employment terms required by law. The decision was dated 30 June 2022. Three complaints concerning his written terms were upheld. His complaints about payment in lieu of notice, working hours and minimum notice were not well founded: the WRC accepted that he had worked out his notice and that documentary evidence showed he had not exceeded the working-hours limit.
