The WRC found a bus driver’s €600 wages complaint and unfair dismissal complaint were not well founded, while two duplicate complaints were withdrawn. In a decision dated 13 April 2022, Adjudication Officer Peter O’Brien found the bus company owner’s account of leaving the wages at the driver’s home more persuasive. The driver said he had not received pay for his final two weeks and had resigned because he was not paid. The owner said he left the wages in the driver’s letter box. The €600 was claimed, not awarded.
