The Workplace Relations Commission found Kathleen Wall’s discrimination complaint against Euro Giant Euro General not well founded after she did not attend the hearing; the merits were not decided. The WRC dated its decision 4 April 2022.
Wall had complained of discrimination on the ground of membership of the Travelling Community. The respondent attended the hearings, while Wall did not attend the November 2021 hearing or the rescheduled hearing in March 2022. The adjudication officer said Wall had been notified and that no evidence supporting the allegation was given at the hearing.
