The Workplace Relations Commission directed Classic Marquees Ltd to pay Krzysztof Lassota €476.31 for outstanding annual leave, while finding his wage-underpayment claim not well founded. The decision was dated 6 July 2022. Lassota said he was guaranteed at least €500 net a week and was owed wages and holiday pay. The WRC found the contract and payslips supported an hourly rate of €11.68, and there was no evidence of a verbal agreement guaranteeing €500 net pay. The employer accepted an error in its annual-leave calculation and agreed that €476.31 was owed.
