The Workplace Relations Commission found that Organic Farming Training Association failed to reasonably accommodate a Trainee Organic Farmer’s disability in its services. It ordered the association to audit its inclusivity policies and introduce an equality and diversity policy. In a separate complaint, the WRC found that the trainee had not established he was receiving vocational training for the purposes of the Employment Equality Acts. The decision was dated 26 November 2021. The association did not attend the hearing, but the complaint that succeeded was decided on its merits.
