The Workplace Relations Commission found Carmel Mc Mahon’s complaint against University Of Limerick was not well founded. The WRC determination was dated 29 July 2022. Mc Mahon, a Student Counsellor, said she had not received annual leave and public holiday entitlements and disputed the pension contribution required for past service. The university disputed the claims. The officer found she had received all annual leave and public holiday entitlements due in the 12 months before the complaint. The WRC said it had no jurisdiction to decide the pension contribution issue. It found the complaint was brought outside the time limit and was not well founded; the merits were not decided.
