The Workplace Relations Commission dismissed four complaints by Yuying Liu against University College Dublin after she did not attend a hearing, finding them not well founded. The decision was dated 11 May 2023. The merits were not decided.
Liu had complained about her employment terms, notice of working hours, Sunday work premiums and alleged gender discrimination. The university attended and was ready to respond. The adjudication officer said reasonable efforts had been made to notify Liu of the hearing and follow up after she missed it. The complaints were dismissed after she did not attend and present her case.
