The Workplace Relations Commission said it lacked jurisdiction to hear Anna Migdal’s housing assistance discrimination complaint against landlord Shona Barrett. The decision was dated 27 June 2022. The merits were not decided.
Migdal said her landlord received rent supplement forms and then served a notice of termination. Barrett said she had not received an application for rent supplement and served notice because she intended to live in the property. The WRC found the complaint was brought outside the time limit and was not well founded; the merits were not decided.
