WRC dismisses Roberto Alamazani's complaint against High Court judge

The WRC dismissed Roberto Alamazani's Equal Status complaint against The Hon. Mr Justice Seamus Noonan, finding the claim misconceived and outside its jurisdiction. The decision was dated 30 August 2021. Alamazani alleged race discrimination over his treatment during court proceedings. The WRC found that judicial decision-making was not a service covered by the Equal Status Act and was immune from suit; the complaint was not properly before it.
